3. my hair didn't get all fucked up in the rain today
4. am  not feeling too worried about my three hour, then half hour then another half hour three finals rolled into one final tomorrow
5. found my umbrella in my trunk just before it started pouring!

following ariel's lead and trying to fight off some winter doldrums (even though it is a solid 70 degrees outside today!) i decided to start writing down 5 things i am grateful for for each day.

here goes.

1. i got an A in biomechanics and a really sweet email from the professor saying congratulations! yay!
2. delicious roasted vegetables with ginger teryaki glaze that was sooo easy to make!
3. $1.59 gas boo-yeah
4. getting to chat with ian a little
5. finished with research project. will be done with the presentation by 10am tomorrow!

hope you all have lots to be grateful for!

as i  was driving to work today I was thinking about how yesterday i told my boss that i thought a certain customer could eat my dick and how maybe that wasn't the best move. funniest and most accurate move, yes; best, probably not. so i'm getting almost excited about how today i am giong to challenge myself to just be nice to everyone because while i dont get paid enough to take anyone's shit i definitely dont get paid enough to give a shit either. so, everything is going ok. and then this lady came up and needed some medication for her sick husband. i've seen this lady at the pharmacy pretty often and she usually comes in abou twice a week. between herself and her husband they will get around 15 medications a week and spend around $200 dollars a week (A WEEK!) on them. she is very frail and walks with a cane. turns out one of the medications she had asked the pharamacist who thinks mexicans shit in the street to order alomost a week ago was just put on the order yesterday and because of memorial day holiday wont be in until tuesday. her husband will run out of the medication on saturday. its basically morphine, so like, he needs it. i tell the lady i'm really sorry that its not in yet and i tell her the truth about it not being put on the order till yesterday. she is not mad at all just concerned about getting the medication on time. i tell her not to worry and call around to other krogers to see if they have any. after about 8 calls i tell her that the only kroger than has any, only has 40 pills and that even though her perscription is for 60 pills she wont be able to get the restbecause it is a controlled substance , i realize she is about to cry. i ask her if she wants some water and then i burst into tears. there are about 7 people in line. 
so basically sometimes people are mean to me at work and i cry, but sometimes i cry just for the hell of it.

obviously this is really embarassing and the pharamcist comes over and is like all professional (almost assholian though) and i can tell he is like omg women aer so gay! and then this other lady in line starts crying too and she calls her other drug store and they have it. so i felt toally worthless that this random person solved the lady's problem

uuuuugh.

but the good news is i am totally gonna get transferred to the atl kroger. where pharmacists are nice! and men in wheelchairs yell at you and make you cry but its totes not a big deal! and its a 15 minute walk from my house! and everyone who works there is a lady except this guy who is so delicate and classy he is an honorary lady! yess!

oops, nevermind about that last post. i've decided to stay put for now. i just couldn't bear the idea of not watching movies with y'all! GOOO JACKETS!

it is so weird to see a trailer for a movie you want to see and realize that by the time it is out in theatres you will be living in a city three time zones away!

i have been told that the pain will get much worse in a few days when my scabs BEGIN TO FALL OFF. oh my god i am so scared.
also that is when the risk of bleeding is high. when i asked my doctor how i would know if my throat was bleeding he reassuringly put his hand on my leg and said, "don't worry you'll feel it gushig down your throat and once it hits your stomach you'll start coughing and throwing up blood." eep!

so whats the most painful/scary thing that has ever happened to you?

so for the past two days since my tonsillectomy i have been eating soup that looks like throw up, gross fake fruit popsicles, instant mashed potatoes and water.

i couldn't take it anymore and made my mom take me to publix so i could find any real food that would fit my 2 week soft diet requirements. So i am now looking forward to real mashed potatoes, "real" fruit popsicles, pedialite, pediasure and campbell's select fiesta corn soup.

so now i am thinking, what should i eat as my first crunchy, hard, crispy meal of the rest of my life in 12 days?
here's what i'm into at the moment. feel free to give me suggestions!

1. blt fried egg and cheese sammich. allggggg.
2. figo.
3. too drunk on hydrocodone to continue.......
